turtle, ofcourse mora was in the mix of that decision, so ofcourse he went next to you. its very tough to keep all holes plugged, but we're getting WAAAAAAAYYYY too much time to make these decisions. can we proxy up if you're not gonna be around to pick please?
I set the draft up for 26 picks, 25 players, hopefully it plays out that way. guess we can scroll down to see if the 26th round is listed. otherwise, we'll just draft the 25th player auto.

clock is off on the weekends, nfortunetly, altho it's hard to tell if its been on at all. supposedly a four hour window. rgimbel may still be steaming over game 7 loss in finals to wildcard team.
those with adminstrative rights can entertain their idle time with finishing the removal of n-l players. also, may need to lob another email to penn about craig monroe. he will come up before long.

If I didn't have to work for a living, I would develop a Web site to do timed draft rounds: The draft would begin when everybody has a full roster submitted, with up to 12 alternates per round.

A round then would run every "X" hours. If a team's first choice were taken, the computer would start going through alternates and later rounds until it found someone not taken. (If absolutely everybody were taken, it would hunt the free agent list for the next most expensive substitute as the autodraft does now.)

After each round, teams would be able to go in and make adjustments, as long as their adjustments still resulted in a full roster.

It would be much less frustrating than wondering when your turn will be up next, but still provide the ability to modify strategies based who you did not get, who other teams in your division have taken, what positions are going fast, etc.

STUCK

Postby TomSiebert » Sat Sep 30, 2006 6:47 pm

Looks like we've reached the screeching halt portion of this season's draft...not that unhappy for me, since I desperately need to do some scouting to figure out how I can possibly field a competitive team when all the stud players are already gone and my ace will only get 33 starts over the course of the season....

Finally, rgimbel checks in with a pick that probably required a great debate...baker. strong reverse rhp, but no *, and 5th inning pow. sgtd goes for a gold glove at 1b. hopefully tater gets us round the corner and headed toward the quarter pole in due time.

skipper doing some damage with frank "please play me in leftfield and against lhp" cattalanotto, then showed his hand early and assured our offenses will die a silent death in cavernous k-c. mark grabs nasty kazmir, high on my list, but decided to go with chacin for the *
