unfortunately, I very much doubt that monroe will be the urbina of the NL league- its just there's slim pickings- otherwise there is no way I'd pick not 1 but 2 defensively challenged firstbasemen who are prone to injury

it's not even worth complaining about getting bungholed anymore, almost every pick screws the old draft card. maybe we shoulda made it a 62million dollar payroll to make it fair to us bottom feeders. ANYBODY is tradeable, but I wouldn't say Lackey's easily obtainable. I would say I have gigantic holes to fill, but who doesn't?

What's With All This Complaining?

Haven't you all been able to put together offensive lineups in which all the players have OBPs greater than .330 and are "1s" or "2s" on defense?

c - MRedmond 2(0)e1
1b - TLee 2e6
2b - BRoberts 1e10
3b - PPolanco 2e8
ss - BCrosby 2e14
lf - LFord 2(0)e11
cf - DDeJesus 2(+1)e6
rf - RJohnson 2(-1)e3
dh - FCatalanotto

(On the downside, my leading home run hitter is Roberts with 18 - and he had half again as many as anyone else. And there are some injury rolls that I'll have to deal with.)

With his pick of Marcus Thames, Tater relinquishes the high salary lead.

As of Mark's (Kramed's) 13th-round pick, here's the amount spent so far, number of players needed and amount per player left.

Kramed - 58.66 - 13 - 1.11
Rgimbel - 58.42 - 13 - 1.13
Tater - 58.31 - 13 - 1.14
Calbatross - 54.60 - 12 - 1.34
Balmer - 54.91 - 13 - 1.42
Elko - 51.76 - 13 - 1.69
Terry - 51.49 - 13 - 1.71
Turtle - 49.24 - 13 - 1.90
Meat - 47.49 - 13 - 2.04
GlenGlen - 49.07 - 14 - 2.08
DJL - 43.31 - 13 - 2.39
SGT D - 38.57 - 14 - 3.04

Up early to do some writing (and check the latest updates about the amazing implosion of the Republican party) and couldn't help but compulsively check the latest draft developments. Elko Al has now swiped BOTH the OF's I coveted in Lew Ford and Reed Johnson, and a couple other wannabes are gone. I'm probably doomed to a boring ballpark soon, too, because none of the specialties suit the team I've built and I can't afford to be stuck with one of them. Get me coffee.

Mark's time is up, and I have Proxies set, will it skip Mark and go to my Proxy and we move on or are we stuck? SGT D
