This has been a fun league! It was talked about early on about creating a "Hit Squad". However, I don't think we could find another guy like Jeep who is funny and a good sport from beginning to end. Even though I don't appreciate his anti-Kev team he put together, I still like the guy!!! 8)

I wish Jeep the worst luck possible tonight. :D

I haven't been in a world series for awhile! My team's 1-9 ending of the season was very impressive!! We're do for some wins!! :lol:

MVP - Brian "Jeep" Roberts

Led team in many key categories, such as Runs, HR, RBI, SLG & Xtra Base hit. Only committed 5 errors in 157 games.

CY Young - Pedro "Jeep" Martinez

24 wins (led the team) meams Pedro was involved in 30% of all our team wins. Also led the team in IP, K's, ERA & WHIP. :)

Rolaids Relief - Joe "Jeep" Nathan

Had a couple of decent performances from cheap specialists, but none pitched in enough key situations to take away the award from Nathan, who while not spectacular was still able to 37 saves in 78 IP.

Most Surprising Player - Brad "Jeep" Wilkerson

Considering how lousy I have seen him perform, his performance this time, especially against RHP (.262 .363 .522) was definitely a pleasant surprise.

Most Disappointing Player - Chien-Ming Wang

Don't want to offend JeepDriver by nicknaming my worst player after him. ;)

In honour of JeepDrivers ability to outmaneouvre & defeat 11 owners looking to slaughter him, all of my players have given themselves "Jeep" as a nickname.

Some interesting things going on last night. Kev and I played some low scoring games, most of the games we played in the reg. sea. was much higher scoring. Escobar got injured while pitching to the [b:2a0b20d6ad]very first[/b:2a0b20d6ad] batter of the game. It was that game, however, that I won, my pen pitching 9 innings and allowing only 1 run.

Anywho, both series are tied 1-1. 8)

I need a sweep tonight...don't really want to go back to MM.

In game 1, for some reason I forgot to replace Stinnett with Damien Miller(who was my regular starting catcher). I pulled a bunch of starters the last series vs. Hershey. I replaced everyone except.........Miller for Stinnett.
Of course, Stinnett hits the game winning Homerun!! :shock: :shock:

I'm thinking that I need to let chimpanzees run my team. They could do a better job than me. Well, I got through the two heavy "R" pitchers so Belliard is back in the lineup for the ineffective Marlon Anderson. When Escobar got hurt in the first inning, we should have taken advantage....but nooooooo......we manage 1 stinkin run. That could cost us the series!! :cry:

Shoot! No Victor and no Neifi for my game 5 tonight. Also, Kev has suddenly found good pitching or my guys aren't hitting like they did in the regular season. :?

BTW...for Game 4 last night HAL made a nice little move with the Neifi substitution. What you say, just sub Blum in at 2B, easy decision right? Oh but NOOOOOO, HAL puts DeRosa in at 3B and moves Meuller to 2B! Yes gentlemen that was what he did. Which led to FOUR errors and who knows how many balls thru the IF. :evil: :x :cry:

C2--I LIKE IT!!! However, just so you know...as a friendly warning, there are rumors that Jeep's players are all deviates and they may reeeeaaaalllllly really be turned on by a guy in drag!! :shock: :shock: With that said, I believe the strategy will work. Drooling ballplayers don't play as well!! :wink:
