Bobby, to catch you up to speed....

With the transition to ATG3, we are drafting our player pool. We are each selecting four teams to help form our 48-team player pool from which our rosters will be created. Once that has been established, we will announce our 3 keepers from our old teams, have a steal round, then announce up to 3 more keepers.
For reference, the updated rules are in both the discussion thread and in my blog.

I will be out of touch tomorrow morning and probably into the late afternoon, so to keep things moving along (and because it is early enough to not be strategicly devestating) I am leaving open proxies for my first round "Team Pool" pick.

Choice #1 - 1934 Stl Cards (yes the "Gashouse Gang" will be included)
Choice #2 - 1911 NY Giants (gotta have a John McGraw team included)

If Tim should happen to pick the 1934 Cards then the 1911 Giants become my pick If Tim picks any other team, then the 1934 Cards are my first round pick.

Message to multiple leagues:

I, Steve Ames (errormagnate) will be leaving useful contact on Fri eve Oct6 and will not have reliable contact again until Sat Oct 14 ( I think - kind of depends if world events go as predicted). I am in a lot of leagues and hope that motst pending drafts will have progressed far enough for me to be able to enter my teams.

I will try to get some contact with my teams during the week but due to the nature of my travel that is not predictable.

I have not joined any 'new' leagues this week but some have taken some time to get going and I would like to stay in them if my being away is not too much of an inconvenience ( 36 team draft, SBDL, "good person tournament etc.) BUT if my absence is going to be too distressing for some please feel free to replace me.

No really don't feel guilty that I am out slaving risk life and limb for some dubious purpose all for some purported greater good no really please enjoy your fun and don't mind my trampled feelings - ok that was all nonsense but the rest was real.
