Jeep, that teaches you to go for a beer and a dog in those long lines at your ballpark. Perez gets hurt and your assistant coach is clueless!! I personally applaud HAL's moves. But what was Lawrence's excuse with his 2 errors? Playoff jitters on the mound?
PS--With Victor Martinez out, IF I get some baserunners, they all get the green light against Nevin's +4 arm! :shock: :wink:

Like Victor can throw that much better than Nevin anyway. Heck, we don't know if HAL will leave Nevin at C or not, he might think Andruw would be better than Nevin and then move Bay into CF. :x :? :wink:

I just realized that the only other time I played in a league named on behalf of one of the owners, that owner won the World Series!! Pelzer's brother and family were in a horrible car accident earlier this year. LMBombers, CATom, DocTax, Errormagnate, FAaron, Assmeritan, Genevajack, and a couple others got together dedicated a league to Pelzer's brother's family. His brother's family all survived (the drunk driver who hit them, did not) and his family is doing well today.
I named and dedicated the league to Pelzer's brother and Pelzer ends up winning the Series in 7 games (which stands today as Pelzer's only championship)!!

All-in-all, the Strato gods were smiling on Larry (Pelzer) and his team in that league.

NOW, I see another league named after someone (JeepDriver), and it's eerie how Jeep's team makes the playoffs and is one game from going to the world series. I have a weird feeling that the Strato gods will be in full force tonight, striking down any chance for me to beat the League's namesake!! I predict my team will lose 18-0 and 7 of my players will get hurt just to add insult to injury! Darn it! I thought I had a chance!

Despite Kev saying all season that I built my team for him, I match-up fairly well with you Big, even though there were 2 MM's a Citz. Bank in my Division.

Dusting off their arms after sitting the first round will be Washburn and Penny. I almost dropped Penny when the schedule went to all In-Division games the rest of the year, so I'm glad I decided to keep him. :)

Big, any idea how we fared vs. each other this season?

Actually this is the first time in 5 dunk leagues (that I have been in) that the dunkee in question made it to the playoffs - let alone the finals. 8)
