I've looked over the lineups in our division and I've got to say that Lowry and Wells are not afraid of all the lefties in our division (excluding a fellow by the name of Barry Bonds). :P

Let's see some more action on the waiver wire, guys. We need some more bargains! :D

This is my first $60M league so I don't have high hopes going into it, but it's been a challenge trying to cobble together a team.

I hear you, PC. Very difficult trying to put a team together with limited cap. It's our first try, too, so it will be interesting to see how it goes. It looks like pitching will dominate hitting based on the free agents available. We think we'll score some runs but we have some tough pitching and ballparks to contend with. Should be interesting. Good luck everyone!

Well, it's going to be interesting, seems that most of the teams are built around pitching whereas we went after a more balanced approach. I would expect that we'll be towards the top in offense, but I've been wrong before (and will be again! ;)) Still, I'm looking forward to see how this plays out. Certainly the teams aren't as much the superstar teams you see with the 80 mil caps.

I look at my team and feel I have a lot of holes - esp on the bench. Very weak in LF and middle relief. But I guess everyone has holes in 60M Leagues. Already lost my biggest bat(Glaus) for 10 games. OUCH! A healthy Glaus is going to be pivotal for run production on this team.

Timo Perez and Deivi Cruz are leading the team in HRs. Not a good sign.

Whoa! What's going on with all the roster moves two days into the season?

Yeah, he's down to $55 mil in cap. You thought it was hard with 60!

Hopefully our pitching isn't this bad. Our ERA is almost 8! Livo, the "stopper" in my rotation has an ERA of almost 20! Yeesh.

AND, the strange thing is, we lost one game when Lidge couldn't get Dave Hansen, Figgins and Youkilis (!) out in the 9th, and we lost another by 1 run on an unearned run.

Going to be interesting....

jbwt: I've got to admit...it is a bit uncomfortable with that horseshoe up my @ss... :)

Don't worry. HAL has a way of evening things out in this game. I -know- it will come back to haunt me.
