I used Hocking as a top of the order hitter in a $60mm league. He scored 96 runs and posted a .340 OBP. I was just considering using him in a Tour League, but came up with another option. I think he's a viable platoon vs RH SP's as leadoff on a slugging team, where his lack of hits doesn't matter much.

responsive:

pitchers: el duque, schilling, traschel, calero, d. sanchez, madson

Hitters: renteria, fick, gomez, ellison, stinett, bruntlet, ozuna, , mackowiak, blum, feliz, molina (1.03), young (1.07), sullivan (more thaan 1m but with Ellison, you get a fine OF platoon for 2m)

I used a Davanon/M Young leadoff platoon in a Tour League and they combined for 121 runs and 43 sb's with only 6 cs. Team won 89 games.

Fernando Rodney and J.C Romero...and as a very useful mop-up man...Jeremy "Afllack" Affledt.
