Guys - the draft parameter's on Penn's site are set at 80M and I also thought this is a 100M league. I am withdrawing my team. This was definitely not clear enough if more than 1 of us made the same mistake. I just don't think we can consider this draft valid at this point....

qk: you are one of the most respected players. However, there must be a workaround so as not to undo the draft in its entirety. Perhaps pick up the draft as at an earlier round?

I, like you, thought it ws a 100M draft. Big deal, I now will have a few crappy spot starters and a lesser platoon than I hoped. Perhaps your fix wasn't as easy as mine. Is there a round you can look at and see that you would have taken less expensive players?

IMO that in an 80M draft the first 10 rounds are usually the best available player (bargain or otherwise) regardless of their salary.

Wock, there are at least 6 guys that I wouldn't have taken if I didn't think it was a $100M league, and that includes 2 of my top 3 picks. It's not worth salvaging IMHO. If this was not a Tour draft I'd consider other solutions but every point counts & with this many of us that were confused, I think a do-over is the only viable solution, sorry....

qk- you seem like a decent guy all the times I've dealt with you in all the leagues we've been in together. Frankly, this is bullsh*t if we start over. I understand there were 2 people in here that made this mistake but like your second grade teacher said many times[b:a4167dc2ae]......"well how did everyone else know?"[/b:a4167dc2ae]


I check the rules thread before every league to make sure I am doing the right thing. You have no one to blame but yourself for the mistake. You can't expect everyone else to start over and you just say "my bad!"

I am not saying this because I wan't you to quit. Personally I would like to see if you can salvage your team through trades and free agencey. you are good enough!! But it's not fair to start over and effect 11 other people when the draft is in the 13th round!

Guys, you don't get it. When we have 3 owners in this league who thought it was 100M (not two, sorry, check page 5) then we:

1) Have a communication problem, and

2) Jeopardize the integrity of the standings of this league & therefore the Tour overall because the 9 other owners in this league will have an unfair advantage over the owners in other League 7s.

I saw no alternative to a do-over. There is no way I can field a competitive team & even if I could, it wouldn't be fair to the Tour.
