When I log in at work, the page looks blank. It is a little strange. What I have to do is drag the page down and eventually I can see the draft picks etc. This may be the problem Rutkap is experiencing. At home, the problem doesn't show itself.

Jablowmi, when does the clock start running?

Postby Ducky » Tue Oct 10, 2006 9:37 am

Jablowmi,

When are we on the clock? This draft has had the slowest start of any of the drafts I have been involved in. Are we on the clock after round 1?

Thanks,

Mike

what are the divisions? Are they as Yountfan suggested? i.e. all hitter division, all pitcher division and mixed division?

i posted the divisions above (before YF's suggestion). they were based on the lottery, as detailed before the selections took place. personal preference? i'd rather go with the lottery. i think setting up the divisions by "theme" is somewhat forced. but, i'm only one of 12, so let's vote.

Oddly enough, the Central division is the same either way (which made Schmidt a relatively easy pick)!
If I were to vote I would say to go with the lottery as it is more standard.

Guys, YF's allignment is by the lottery. It is just
E=1 4 7 10
C=2 5 8 11
W=3 6 9 12

rather than Jablowmi's way of doing it. YF's distribution is actually the most commonly used distribution of divisions.

The Central ends up the same because it is 2 5 8 11 in both cases.

I will put Noah in as a no opinion on which one to go with as he doesn't have a clue about division allignments and it won't affect who he picks.

I vote lottery.

Hak,

I sent Rutkap a PM letting him know that I would help with picks if he continues to have issues. No response so far, but I only sent the PM about 30 minutes ago.
