6 days and 18 games later and things are still pretty tight - only 8 games seperate 1st overall and last.

My team has struggled as of late - trying to stay above .500, but we're still only 4 games out with 90+ games to play. :)

League remains pretty competitive with only 9 games seperating 1st overall and last overall.

Wow - hard to believe it has been 2 weeks since my last post - or any post - especially considering how tight this league is - only 12 games seperate 1st & 12th and 11 owners are within 8 games of a playoff spot!

3 days later - only 12 wins seperate the best & worst overall, and 11 owners still within 8 wins of a playoff spot. With 51 games to go that means this thing is still up for grabs!

Teams are starting to seperate a little more as we go into the stretch run - with a 15 game difference between 1st and 12th. However there are still 10 teams within 7 games of 1st in their division, and the biggest lead of any division is only 5 games.

The bad news: Holliday's season essentially ended last night when he went down for 15 games.

The good news: At least it was in game 141 so I had a chance to make a couple of waiver deadline moves to replace him with Piedra. :)

Of course that left me needing a cheap platoon partner. Nobody jumped out at me from Col/Tex. Then I thought to myself... "Check the list of trades and maybe you have someone else that you forgot about." At that point, I realized that I no longer had a couple of my options (i.e. DeRosa and Hidalgo), but I did have Raul Mondesi. Here is hoping that Raul can get hot for me down the stretch - I need it !!

Boy are things tight in the Central!! Jay and I could never create separation from Nythawk and here he is just 1 game back of us with 9 to play! We also have 6 teams within 3 games for the WC race! A sweep now by anyone will be HUGE!!
