Shows wise...

Postby cummings2 » Fri Oct 13, 2006 3:00 am

Because of work I've had to see all the Cirque Du Soleil shows several times.

Tix are a bit pricy (around$100 U.S.D.) and often they are sold out though the tix are not impossible to get.

"O" (Bellagio) , "Mystere"(Treasure Island), "Ka" (MGM) always amaze me.

"Zoomanity" (New York New York) is slightly different in a more adult/cabaret kinda way but it is really good.

"Love"(The Mirage) is pretty good but more towards the broadway-ie kinda way.

IMO they are all sure bets. Two CDS shows in one trip is a good number, I wouldn't do all 5, not even 4, it can get a bit overwhelming.

Check out their previews if you want:

In order I'd suggest:

1. "O" Link to O's Trailer
2. "Mystere" Mystere Trailer / "KA" KA trailers (Look under Extras/ Videos)
3. Zoomanity
4. Love Love Main/trailer

Chuck's covered the theatrical. I've had some luck getting 1/2 price tickets the day of the show if you want to take a chance with that.

Go to Fremont street (downtown) one night and see the light show.

Dinner outside at the restaruant in Paris let's you see the fountains at Bellagio.

You have to take in the dinner/theatre show at I believe the Excaliber if my memory serves me correctly. Eat and watch a joust. The food was actually pretty darn good, although you have no silverware to eat it with. The show was incredible.

Craps is THE ONLY GAME, IMO...

And Stratosphere has No Craps - Craps. Meaning you can't Crap out on the come out roll. Making the 2-3-11 and 12 place bets as well as the point. And there are some very good odds on those Bets - Giving you a lot of rolls to hit them.

I tend to lose a lot of bets on the come out roll - So No Craps - Craps is my favorite game within the game.
