Late tonight I will start another thread on the 36 points. A few reminders here though: 1. You score for each HOF first and last name you match(pick someone named Joe and you get a point each for matching Joe Williams and Joe Rogan=2 points). 2. Players can score more than one point. 3. First name matches include variations william/willie/bill are treated as matches. 3. It isn't that hard to make it the way I intended it and we have loosened it slightly also.

(By the way Ted Williams scores a point).

Question RE: the rule that everyone must have a .50 SP who starts every 5th game. Since all SPs on a team must come from the same decade, what happens if the decade you draft SPs from HAS no .50 starters? FOUR of the decades have NO SP's at .50 salary (00's, 10's, 30's & 90's). 40's have only one. 20's, 50's & 60's have two each. Biggest concentration is in the 70's & 80's, with four and eight, respectively. Is this going to be a problem?

considering ol pete is already drafted, i'd say YES. sounds like another exclusion to me. hate to have the .50 cent starter determine my starting pitching decade.
also, must I presume that a 1 defensively at catcher means I can have only one other 1 defensively...and that even if I didn't have any other 1's, I'd have to carry to starting 4's defensively for having a 1 at catcher? seems like the draft pauses at just the right times to resolve major issues. im sure I'll rue throwing hammerin hank back....
