I had a real hard time deciding between Sweeney and Blalock. I finally decided to go with the 3B I already have and just get the best power hitter avail.

We are seeing the total team salaries of available players to choose from. It will be interesting to see if the the salaries of the 25 man rosters go in a similar order.

simple division

I don't intend to do this because I think it undermines the idea of how the divisions are set up but . . .
if I were to draft all scrubs (25 $.50 players) that would assure me of being in the weakest division. Once the divisions are set, I could drop those players with impunity since it would probably benefit me to have someone else pick them up to increase the team payroll (in theory) out of proportion with the rest of the division. There would be no down side since no one can draft my players. I don't think there is anything to be done about it, just wondering if my analysis was right and I just gave away an edge.

If I understand it right we're going by TOTAL Team payroll of both teams (all player's) and the two drafted player's, which cannot be dropped.
