Let me answer a couple things:
1) Yes there is a clock, but I (we) am pretty lax in enforcing it. If someone takes more than 3 hours to make a pick the next person can go, but that next person can opt to wait, which we have done.
Also, tomwistar gave us ample warning that he has no computer access during the workday.
2) Of course trading is possible. The one restriction is that you can only trade one (1) of your keepers throughout the process - see the rules (on my blog page).
3) I encourage proxying. I'm not Steve's public proxies are strategically sound, but OK. If you want to proxy via PM, send to me, put "round # proxy" in the subject field - that tells me when to open it.
