Can someone tell me where we are at in this draft? Penn's site shows we are only up to the third pick in the 1st round. Did MM make his pick yet, or not? Is it my pick yet, or still? Are we still drafting on this thread, or not? I posted last night that I would take YAZ with my pick, and use him as my DH, but I don't know if that's been officially endorsed yet, due to the trade (snafu?) going on with MM. If anyone can catch me up to speed, I would appreciate it. :?

let's let MM check back in. If his clock expires, we will rely on his pick. no next pick until his clock expires.

I'm checking in, and trying to make sense of it all as well.

I still can't believe I wrote that last night. :oops: :oops: And what was with the 2nd and 3rd relatively lucid posts?? Where did THEY come from? That would have been around 5:45am. Was I even UP then? I vaguely remember attempting to watch the game last night... :roll:

Let me take a look at Mr. Meat's post, which makes about as much sense as my first one of the evening. Mr. Meat, what's YOUR excuse? :wink: :P

Where we are is that not everyone has taken the five minutes to go to PG's site and put in their team as picked to date. There is at least one of us who didn't (doctortax). Once everyone does that the draft site will catch up to this tread and we'll be on the clock and hopefully this draft will start to resemble a typical draft.

Draft can and shoud be fun. This one's not. Hopefully that'll change when those who haven't been keeping up will get with the program.

I cannot enter any proxies. But I will pick when I'm up. Not being able to enter proxies will be a pain further down the line, though...

Just keep drafting. This whole team/draft is a mess anyway. When I mis-picked Frisch, and couldn't get back on to repick, and I came back to find about 5 picks made, everything went to pieces.

I've got absolutely no idea what is going on with my draft, and I can't even enter the two picks I actually WANTED to make on the frickin draft site as proxies.

The only thing I DO know is that my team name will be the Indianapolis Clowns, because they were the first professional team to allow a woman to play, and they will be managed by Ernie Banks, because he's on my team, and he's Mr. Cub, of course.

There, at least by posting that, and having Ernie on my team, I think I've got my Negro League points taken care of.

Rick, I'm pretty good with penngray's site. Why don't you PM me your password and I'll see if I can't sort out the proxy issue for you?
