Time to get my act together and go out and win some credits, because I am going to be needing them.

Good thing my wife doesn't read the credit card bill too closely... :D[/quote:6f5eacad9b]

My wife does, which is one reason why I try to win as many credits as I can.

The, uh, financial aspect of my participation in this noble pursuit was recently uncovered by the wife and I found myself sputtering all the rationalizations I'd been storing up for months--"cheap as a couple movies," "I mostly play for free now," "just be glad I'm not addicted to something really costly and hazardous to my health, like cigarettes," etc., etc., none of the statements really making an impact. So now that I've really got to win to keep playing my current '80s team embarks on the worst losing streak I've ever endured, 9 games and counting with three shutouts against.

Lots of SP have 20 or more complete games, some as many as 30. Lolich and Wood tossed 376 innings. The have to be S10*! What happened to the complete game?

Hey Baracus, do you have any kids? If so, get them playing, that will buy you a lot of leeway.

Hak,

No kids yet (I'm a "rookie" married guy) but the angle you mentioned has me looking forward to having them as much as my plan to name my first born, boy or girl, Yastrzemski Wakefield Wilker.

Times sure have changed...when I was a rookie married guy without kids, strat would have been the last thing I was busy doing.

The old fart baseball geek said [size=18:a234f083d3]"AWESOME!"[/size:a234f083d3]

The expansion Mariners and Blue Jays?

How about old bald-headed, pot-bellied Gaylord Perry and that slobber-ball for a blast from the past?

Well, this just SUCKS!!! :D Even though I absolutely despise the mystery card (please, that is not meant to beat a dead horse again), I will have to play the 70's. The era of my youth.
