Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

Doesn't seem to make sense that we'd change the formula for seeding in the last round and make it based on 1 season's performance. However we do it is fine with me. At this point, every team's a contender and I don't think seeding is much of a factor anymore. Just pray the dealer of mystery cards is on your side.

The rules say one thing but...

Jablowmi ruled in between season 1 and 2 that he would not be adjusting the ranks between each round. He ruled that the rankings would remain the same throughout just as it is in the real March Madness basketball tournament.

Not that I stand to gain an advantage either way:

I'd be in the Eastern division in both cases...

I put in my record and teams near the top of the page. It must have not been transferred. I don't care how we set the divisions but It was decided after the rules were printed that we would just go by the seedings. Jimmy C just copied the original rules which weren't changed when we went to the divisions based solely on seedings.

As far as I'm concerned I'm going to kick all your a$$es and I'm sure everyone else feels the same way. The seedings are a flawed way of doing it as is going by records in the tournament. If we just want to pile in at random it would be okay with me. What the seedings has going for it is it is what was decided during the course of the tournament and it would keep the division determination consistent the whole tournament.

Whether I am the top dog or the underdog for the final round....makes no difference to me. I'm glad to be in the final 12.

Everyone in the 12 is a top competitor.

my first title was in March Madness.

but I have run out of hitters parks. I wasnt expecting to get this far.

my strategy for wrigley, kingdome and riverfront (not that it is very original-lots of OPS with HRs) has not worked for me in the murph. I think lots of OPS with HRs is probably a good strategy anywhere.
