With Splinter being President of the Man/Boy Association, he is at a W/E retreat.

Viz - I owe you an apology. Did not realize until I read some other posts that you were a Met fan. No disrespect intended. I think St Louis has the same inferiority complex that KC has for St Louis. It makes us hate the Mets.

The euphoria here is intense. No one expected this. After 105 wins and 101 wins, this regular season was a letdown. But it's not about the regular season. When you broke down the Padres and Mets, you can truly see that the Cards were truly underdogs. LHP and LHbats were suppose to kill us. That hasn't happened. Well now, let's look at the Tigers.

All RHP except for the gambler. Power pitchers, power rhp. What do the Cards hit best, power rhp. Hmmm, with Carp, Soup and a rejuvinated surfer throwing darts, it is possible that the Cards could win it all. Oh yes you say, they killed us during the season. True, but so did the Mets and the Padres. Sometimes a group of guys come together, not the most talented, but a group that push each other to succeed. If talent won, the Yanks would always win the World Series. The Yanks of 10 years ago had this extra thing - players that pushed each other ie, (see Paul Oneil). I really think they could do it, not they will, but they could. They believe and they are having some fun.

Anyway, just proud of the home team.

Bye Bye Verlander.......

Power RHP.

And USA Today picked Tigers in 3 games. We love being the underdog.

GO CARDS.

They lost to Kenny Rogers? hehehe...

I think the Tigers will now throw:

Game 3: Mark Fidrych
Game 4: Jack Morris
Game 5: Denny McClain

and wrap this this up.

Is it Oct. 30th. yet? :(

Kinda slow when you have 0 teams going.

Jamie, you probably wouldn't understand this. :?

Don't forget, AZ will be in the West. We could at least get our divisional alignments done right? All of our states are in right?

When will AZ be back from the 3rd. world? And I'm not talking about Georgia...
