i want to know how do you all feel. i started the draft with J Santana and after i chose i had second thoughts. Of course, since i had already picked him i was not able to make a change. Do i have to take Santana again or are starting completely fresh and i can make any choice? I will leave it to you guys to tell me what you think is right, don't want this to cause a problem. Thanks in advance for your opinion. I will pick my choice at about 6 EST since i have to get back to work now.

I was hoping we'd pick the same 4 picks and move on.

I am of the idea that if you don't pick any of the players that have already been chosen then go ahead and change the pick but iif your pick would now be someone else's 1st that has already been chosen then it's perhaps easier to just redo the first 4 picks just the same as before.

Just my .02 though. Other thoughts welcomed on this.

Hi all.

Happy with whats going on, it's fine with me. I suggest though you send a note to all the guys in the league to advise of the change and remove the old league from the draft site, so there is no confusion.

In regards to timelimits, I believe in round 1 each person gets 24 hours to lodge their pick, when it's their turn and then after that it's 2 hours. The 24 hours limit for round 1 is there so everyone gets an opportunity to be informed that the draft has commenced and lodge there R1 pick and set up proxy's etc. if required.

I have only done a handful of live drafts, but I have never seen R1 go more than a couple of days.

Good picking.

Kanga. :)

FOR THE RECORD

I just read over on the SOM ONLINE THREAD a message from ETDefender stating awhile back that he was retiring from SOM.

Why can't these drafts move along. We have 3 of the top 17 players in the championship and a lot of vets. I jumped in for a tough league not a rough draft.

AP, Bob is going to pick Pedro according to the first draft started. I hope the info will help your choice. Good luck and thank you for stepping in for Etdefender.

OK I sent an email to pacoboy to let him know the draft is underway and a PM to bobschwartz to remind/let him know the draft had to be reset. Paco replied already so we know he's on top of it 8)

Don't be bashful to help out guys, when you see the draft halting send a PM/e-mail, etc. the time you can use to come here and vent about a slow draft can also be used to help the draft go faster. :D

I have every confidence we will have an efficient draft once we get past initial inertia.
