Guys, I hate to have to say this, but several of you guys are not working hard enough, even at all in trying for the even record. As of today the only .500 record comes from yours truly, the originator of this theme league.

Some of you, Kev for instance, are trying, I get that. But others aren't being considerate at all, namely AF, akindian and now Sandy, who said the hell with an even record some 2 weeks ago. Sandy has diliberately tried to jump over .500 (which he did) and NOT fall back, but to continue winning.

How 'bout Bunbury? Props to him. In fact, he is the odds on favorite for Manager Of The Year for his especially working toward that goal of an even record after being so far up. Thanks to Bunbury, you have assured yourself of an invite back for Even Stevens II.

As horrible as my team is, we're only 4 games out of the wildcard. Perhaps, my Uneven Stevens will say the "heck" with the theme and go after the elusive above ".500" record!! :shock:
If everyone else is cheating and trying to get way above .500, why not us??!! Starting tonight, my Uneven Stevens are going to try and win!

Sorry to disappoint Jeep. Our guys were just so overjoyed to even make it to "even" that I guess they decided to never be there again.

Meanhwile, what puzzles me, is how we can have such a huge differential between our home and away records -- esp. if the stadiums are fairly close to each other in effect???

I do better in neutral parks (I know this is a controlled one) but yet almost every other league I go for Power(little success) or UNSAFEco (no success) but yet I'm drawn to htose parks like a moth to the flame. Any of the VETS out there have a similiar problem this year? Is it easier in 06 with a Yankee, Turner type fields???

I was out of action yesterday guys, long story but spent a total of 9 hours in the ER on two separate trips. :cry:

Meanwhile, I see a huge series on tap for me tonight with Sandy's club. I need a sweep badly, especially with Bunbury in the mix, too.
