Keep Majewski. You will need to get 100 innings from him. Set him at 2-3 innings max and leave the rest blank. This way when your starter gets rocked early Majewski will get first call and carry you into the middle innings. he will also be a decent fill in for Helling on rest days. I will have to say of the 3 I mention Helling is my least fave. I think it's just due to his poor hold rating. He will get 200 plus innings for you no doubt.

I have to revise some earlier advice. I would go with an 11 man staff. With a Coors in your divison you might need the extra arm. That could be balanced out by having a Petco. Tough call. Also, I like Vallone over Flores. But I like Romero over both. You don't need 2 LHP that shut out LHH. If you go with the 11 man staff try to get Voglesong or Affeldt. Cheap guys that you can set as blow out pitchers and save your true arms for better times. I've had Affeldt provide winning seasons with multipule saves in this situation.

Question:

To get the most out of a middle reliever (Helling,Majewski) what are the best settings for these guys.

Slow hook, not before 6 or 7 ?????

I have Vogelsong set for Mop only.

Villone and Munter quick hook, 1-2 innings, and avoid their respective weak sides.
