adamphoenix needs to pick a different state for the lottery. MA does not have a pick 3 game. Most states do but not MA. You can go to www.lotteryusa.com and select a different state to see if it has a pick 3 number or not.

And come to think of, I live in MA and I don't remember ever hearing of a Pick 3. :oops:

What if an owner is unlucky enough to get two teams that don't match well at a position- (NO PLAYERS ARE THEIRS) Outside of the two team draft-how does he remedy this?

I'd need an example of this, but I would think a trade might be in order. I would think the team draft would lessen this possibility, as you might end up drafting low in round #1 (AM. league), but getting higher pick of NL would balance that out. I don't think we'll have a problem fillinbg positions. You just get what you get, however. For EX, if you take Boston to get Clemens and those bats, well, you might have problems finding good relievers. That's just the way it is. Every team has a weakness somewhere.

5 more managers needed to fill this league which should be lots of fun! The team you select in the first round probably should be the most complete team you can find. The team you select in the second round should have some players that are strong in the weak positions from your first team. It deffinately will be very strategic picking the teams. You just can't go for the single best player available but the team with the most good players most likely.

You will still probably end up with one or two weaker positions than you would have on a normal autodraft league but that is part of the strategy and fun! :D
