Ok, what do you think? Obviously I wouldn't have back some of the choices for backups without the unlimited salary cap. There are also no free agents $5mil+. Here are my pending lineups:

Lineup vs. RHP
# Name (Bats) Pos Def BA OBP SLG Bal
1. Crawford, C. (L) LF 1(0)e2 .301 .331 .469 4R
2. Guerrero, V. (R) RF 3(-4)e4 .317 .394 .565 E
3. Howard, R. (L) DH - .288 .356 .567 9R
4. Sexson, R. (R) 1B 3e8 .263 .369 .541 4L
5. Beltre, A. (R) 3B 1e15 .255 .303 .413 2L
6. Mauer, J. (L) C 2(-2)e4 .294 .372 .411 5R
7. Wells, V. (R) CF 1(-1)e0 .269 .320 .463 7L
8. Counsell, C. (L) 2B 2e10 .256 .350 .375 1L
9. Everett, A. (R) SS 1e16 .248 .290 .364 3R

Lineup vs. LHP
# Name (Bats) Pos Def BA OBP SLG Bal

2. Guerrero, V. (R) RF 3(-4)e4 .317 .394 .565 E
3. Gibbons, J. (L) DH - .277 .317 .516 1R
4. Sexson, R. (R) 1B 3e8 .263 .369 .541 4L
5. Beltre, A. (R) 3B 1e15 .255 .303 .413 2L
6. Mauer, J. (L) C 2(-2)e4 .294 .372 .411 5R
7. Wells, V. (R) CF 1(-1)e0 .269 .320 .463 7L

9. Everett, A. (R) SS 1e16 .248 .290 .364 3R

Where else would you sign Ryan Howard to be a part time DH but I love it. He has mostly non-BPHR as a LH in a RH ballpark. Could work.

The League is known as Best of the Best and my division-mates are located in another Minute Maid, Dolphins Stadium, and Coors Field.

McCann should replace Mauer vs lefties.

Your offense looks very weak to me and your pitching looks weak also. Is it some kind of theme league that limited your choices? Where are all the RH bashers? Vs rhp's you have four lh hitters, Everett, Wells & Beltre. In that park, you need a lot of HR threats. That won't come close to getting it done IMO. The $200 leagues I have been in the offenses are overpowering. You should check out FA's for platoon guys that bash. Guys like Cameron, Molina, etc. You also don't have any top pitchers. Cordero a bad choice for Minutemaid and no top middle relief or starters. I think you are going to get beaten like a drum. Look at the other Minutemaid team and the Coors team and look at their offenses.

Earlier I was trying to find a way to say exactly what durant said.

This is not a good MM team. To many lefties and 2 of your 3 RH bashers hit lefties better and you probably won't see that many lefties.

See if you can package a deal for one of the big RH bats. If not, get rid of some of the extra $$ on the bench and at upgrade your BP.

Thanks for the advice. With it being $200, most of the bashers I selected were gone in the draft. I had to work the trade floor just to get Sexson and Beltre. You are probably right about either going the platoon route or trade.
