[quote:29645e7656="YountFan"]I just grabbed it using the link and they are there.

Hitters: columns R and S
Pitchers: columns U and V

YF[/quote:29645e7656]

Nope.

I've downloaded 4 times, and no years. Is there any way it would be a problem at my end?

Waning interest???

Postby BC Manager » Sun Oct 30, 2005 12:54 pm

So, I've tried about everything I can think of to get Mav's attention. I know he's not away because there was activity with his Yahoo hockey team yesterday.

Don't want single out Mav here. There's been several guys who haven't been very attentive with this draft. That didn't happen with previous drafts (I know circumstances have been different).

I'm wondering if interest in this league has waned for some. Is there anyone who would just as soon not continue with their involvement in this league and their team??

I don't mean the above question as any kind of threat. I just don't want anyone to continue out of a feeling of obligation. I think there's many who would love to join this league if a team were available. It just would've been best to opt out before the draft started. But again, don't read this as my proposing to kick anyone out.

As for myself, I'm still super-enthusiastic about this league. I think others feel that way too.

I'm looking foward to kicking some ass in 1984. So, let's get this draft done!

If I stop making the playoffs I would get a good draft pick  :D

Penn, I think I can help you improve your draft pick for 85, and I plan to do so. :D :D :D

Mattingly, Reggie, Raines and Hassey are looking forward to facing DeLeon. :D

Seriously though, if your pitching does me in again this year, the front office will be cleared out and the manager sent packing.

Based on this drfat '85 may be the last year with these owners. I'm hip to more, but others are showing a last of interest, but with the speed of the draft who can blame them. I mean it was been nearly a month already

Clock for Round 4

Postby BC Manager » Sun Oct 30, 2005 1:37 pm

[b:88b97f9a7b]There will be a 3-hour clock for Round 4 picks. It will be applied from 9am EST to 10 pm EST[/b:88b97f9a7b]

There's no way we're waiting for a full day for someone to decide between Dion James and Al Nipper.

I'm tempted to implement a clock for Round 3. I'm tempted to say skip Mav and let him pick when he checks in.

Any thoughts?

So, Penn -- just out of curiosity, how does it feel to make the playoffs every year and never win?? Are you Bobby Cox in real life ??

Just kidding with you Penn. I know that MY championship is EXACTLY like my beloved Red Sox' ring in 2004 -- it ain't gonna happen again for another 86 years !!

As for me, I LOVE this decade theme, and I don't want to see it end. This is the BEST theme I've been involved with in Strat, PERIOD !!

If we need a couple new managers along the way, so be it.

I'd give Mav through the end of today, and if we need to move on tomorrow we can do so, with a clock. My thoughts,

Sean
