USING PROXIES

Postby qksilver69 » Mon Oct 30, 2006 10:04 am

Bob - you need to use the draft site, not other players, to make proxy picks. We can't do it for you.

Click on the link that says "Create a Proxy". You have the option of leaving a purely sequential list such as:

Varitek pick 1
P Martinez pick 2
A Rodriguez pick 3

OR group the players such as:

Group 1, pick 1 B Roberts,
Group 1, pick 2 L Castillo
Group 1, pick 3 M Ellis

Group 2, pick 1 A Rodriguez
Group 2, pick 2 J Rollins
Group 2, pick 3 C Guillen

Make sure that the option is set to Proxies on "YES" after you set up your list. Please take 5-10 mins & check this out, it's really really important to get to know this in order to have a smooth draft.

Thanks,
Qk

BOB: also, be sure to click the remove player box if you are picking in groups so that you don't end up with more than one guy at a position. Its the last drop down window off to the right when you ar setting a proxy.

Example:

For your next pick and you want a SS, you might have 3 prferences:

ARod
Jeter
Young.

After each of Jeter and Young, change the remove box to "yes" before you load the proxy so that you won't end up with more than one SS.,

KCM - we literally can't pick for him. What happens if we post a pick here but someone doesn't see it & then picks that player on the draft site? Then we're in a worse mess than we were before.

Sorry, each mgr is responsible for knowing how to use the draft site before we start. We can't post a pick for Bob, period. We just need to wait for him to come back & make his skipped picks, set proxies, etc.

I'm sorry, I thought that he gave you guys his password to put it on the draft site. My mistake. That was done on one of my earlier drafts and I thought that is what he did on this one.

I wasn't one of the 3 mgr he PM'd but I think he just sent proxies, not password, based on Chuck's post above....

He did not give me his log-in info in the PM I got. There's no way I can log in unless we re-set his password (not really an option IMO) and there is no way I can pick for him from my user.

Not wanting to stump the draft/him... just nothing I can do.

:(

For what it's worth here's what i got:

Once again: Really good and smooth ride on theis draft fellas. Nice goin' Keep the smiles a-happenin and the picks a-flyin' :D

100% of the time PENN's site is set up w/ a PW of "TEST" unless you ask penngray to change it.

99% remain TEST except for a few of the old school vet's like myself.

Guess what, BOBSCHWARTZ "TEST" works like a charm.

FYI

I didn't even think of that AP.

That's funny. Having changed my password a few times I didn't even think of that. I thought everyone changed it.

I'd be the worlds worst hack-man... heck I AM the world's worst hack-man. 8)
