can choose from, one thing I was not clear (and please league tell me if it is to late to add this stipulation...but I know Sykes isn't afraid of stipulations), when I meant you could only use players from one division, I should have specified the majority of the card needed to be from an AL West Team.

Not sure if this changes things drastically, and even if at this point it is fair to make that clarification. So Sykes, let me know if your willing to allow me to make this clarification, and if not, if the rest of the league thinks it should have been something that was obvious or can be made now.

As for Sean, yes every position on the card can not have a fielding rating of better than 3. So if a plaer plays at 3 positions and 1 of them he is a 2 and the rest he is a 3, this player is ineligible. BTW...In my original pill lisiting , I believe I did give credit to the Hitters v. Pitchers Deux LEague for this idea.

Then I read on and saw the Murph!

Damn....I have only had one Murph team in my life I think.

I will have to pray for rain every night! How bout a hurricane destroys my stadium and I have to play on the road every game or Mexico City where the smog will knock down home runs despite the elevation.

if a player played 1 season there he should count as eligible for drafting. remember we can draft those players also so the field is further limited.

just my opinion

You should password protect the league or else someone could jump in and ruin the whole thing. once 12 get in there is no turning back. create a password and pm the east teams only.....once filled someone from the east will pm the central teams only...and so on

I will need to review the players in the AL West and see if that is viable.

With the poison pill assigning Mark Langston already to one owner, that will only complicate things a tad as I might list him #1 on my card.

I will loko it over and get back to folks.

I won't be able to field a compliant team...there are only about 15 or so to choose from. what stipulations should be made?

Sykes,

If you take Langston then Sean will just give me someone else. He'll be at the bottom on my card so draft away.

There's your answer Sykes, remember I said in the pill, if someone drafts one of the players assigned to YF, then the pill giver was able to choose a suitable replacement (of someone of equal or lesser dollar value).

Unforunately, Sean was not supposed to state who he was giving to YF in the public forum, but that was my fault for not speciying that.

Ice, if you are unable to fulfill you the restrictions of your pill, then we stick a bunsen burner under you and start calling you the Puddlemen.

But actually, try and draft $.75M starting pitchers, if for any reason you physically can not complete a rotation before the season starts (i.e. drafting, trading, or acquiring through waivers/FA) a starting rotation of these players then we will look into moving the $.75M to less than $1.0M and see if that allows you. This also applies during the regular season.

Note: You will not be forced to make ludicrous deals with other owners to acquire $.75M players (i.e. trading Hershiser just to get a $.75M starter, not that you of course should have a Hershiser on your roster).

Let me know if you feel that you could not have starting rotation of pitcher under $1.0M.

BTW....

Isn't Allanson a catcher? Why would he be beyond your budget. Remember the $.75M is only for starting pitchers not for other position players.
