Speaking of which, I just noticed I play the Elders tonight at their place. GL Lee, should be a good series. 8)

My team was battling closer and closer to .500 after the horrific start.....but got swept last night and knocked me backwards again!! That means I will have win 2 out of 3 the next 3 series just to get back to where I was. I wish my team could pull out a sweep at some time!!

I think I should just rename all of my teams 'Treading Water', after getting off to a good start here, I lose eight in a row, and since then, it's just 1 out of 3, 2 out of 3, 1 out of 3..... and now Griffey out for the next two series.

I still haven't quite got this set figured out, I think that will happen right around the time the '07 cards come out :)

Two out of three from Jeep, not bad, but I just can't figure out Zito. Well, actually, I can, he sucks. I guess his OB is killing me.

My teams are so streaky. Last week I couldn't hardly lose, all my teams playing well nightly...now this week all my teams are struggling. It's so funny how that happens. Do any of yall go in streaks like that?

Yes, in fact my team in this league is like that. First, we lose a lot and then we lose a little less, and then we lose a lot again!! Very streaky!

*I do blame some of my demise on my Closer. FRod is 0-5 with 5 blown saves and a 6.20 ERA. He holds those 5 games and my team is 26-25 and respectable. But......he has blown too many games but is improving.

While I was gone last week, I had four teams go a collective 20+ games under .500 in just five days. I guess you could call that streaky... and not the good kind.... :x

A sweep by Lee last night, therefore gaining a game on me to close to within three. Lee, planning any more trips in the near future?

Jeep, I've decided that staying in far Northern Minnesota in a postage stamp size room with five 5th grade boys, working my tail off all day (including what they called K.P.), and freezing my tail off at night, while having no access to internet, phone, newspapers, or television was a once in a lifetime experience  It was an interesting experience!

So, to answer your question, nope, no trips where I will be completely incommunicado planned for the near future.

I could use a few more nights like last night, I actually had a couple sweeps.

Statistical oddity, LH are hitting .354 off Hawkins, righthanders .219. Go figure.

BTW, It was 81 degrees here today! :D
