I would take Schalk, Sanguillen or Gibson before those guys. Also Dempsey or Lake.

Had Ruel in Forbes '09 and he was a bust.

What about O'Neill? Too pricey? Good catcher for any park....

Gibson...or Dempsey. I also used Ruel. He performs pretty much like his salary...like a high priced back-up.

Herschberger/Gonzalez.

Hersch will give you 100+ games, start him both ways, make use of the indestructible second catcher and get a good evenish guy like Gonzo. You can also spend a bit more for this backup but for my money Gonzo is more than adequate.

Hersch is a big bargain in that park. IMO he's already better than someone like Schalk.
