Bobby, this seems kind of ambitious. Round 1 will end mid-Dec. We then have to set up, play regular seasons, and play postseasons for Round2 and Round 3. I haven't calculated dates, but I'm not sure this will be done by mid-June. Anybody able to figure this out?

Also, any thoughts to themes/setups for Round 2 or Round 3 (maybe it's too early for this question).

Personally, I'm enjoying Round 1, and hope to be involved to enjoy Rounds 2 and 3 as well. :lol:

Bioman, he blew one, that's when I posted, didn't want to jinx him. And I see your point in trying to finish 3 leagues by Sping, could be tough, and aren't the next two leagues going to be 80 mill no dh waivers? Only Bobby knows.

I see the whole tourney being finished by the beginning of May at the very latest.

Those Lucky Twelve who are still in the running will know that by at latest March, so that should give plenty of time to at least make contingency plans for going away, and I'm guessing at least 4 or five will know by mid-season if they can forget about winning.

In any case I imagine that those who are going to Vegas will know so whether they are going as guests of Bobby or on their own, so I don't forsee any problems. :D

Just to put everyone's mind at ease...the tournament just can't begin before mid June. I am aware of the dates for the 3 leagues to finish and they have been taken into consideration in scheduling the next event. As for my thoughts on when this can happen, it probably will be sometime in the mid to late summer and could be in the fall depending on the availability of hotel room space. I will not get into the planning stages until January/February time frame. Thanks...Bobby

very disappointing season so far, using same park and players that usually win about 85-90 games i am mired near the basement overall.


willie stargell came through thought with 5 hrs in first series after pickup
sparking rare for me 3 game sweep

hopefully the beginning of better things

still 5 games out of advancing


need some 12-10 victories lol

Good People Tournament Rules

Round #1....
1. 80M, no dh, waivers, autodraft
2. Stadiums are not unique
3. Divisions are determined by Pick 3 lottery results (highest to lowest)
4. East: 1, 4, 7, 10--Central: 2, 5, 8, 11--West: 3, 6, 9, 12
5. Managers who advance to Round #2... The four playoff managers and the next 2 best records in the league...
6. Tie breakers for the 2 best record teams are first: head to head meeting and then if tied then the second tie breaker is run differential (Runs scored less Runs allowed)...
