In the meantime, I have created an "excel master file" that shows
the half-squad owner, if any, for each player in ATG3...

It's basically adrian's diamondope "pool" info, with some extra columns to enable sorting by owner and various other metrics (position, defense rating, etc., etc.).

The file would very much help to faciliate more trading... instead of "broadcasting" general offers, the file allows me to better identify which owners have stuff I might need, and where their needs are as well... for instance I can quickly see all SS's by half-squad owner, and see that AT has no 1-rated SS... (he does have five with 2 ratings- Fletcher, Herzog, Kubek, Harrelson, Weis and I see all teir salaries in one glance)... maybe I want to offer him one of my two 1-rated SS's (Bush, Marion)... I am in need of an economical CF, so I filter on his CF's, and see he has 10 players rated for CF, but only three with a fielding rating of 1 or 2 (Mantle 13.6M, Agee 5.88M, Gaspar .58M). Hence I can make an explicit offer of Bush for Agee, if I were so inclined. While it would take me about an hour to go online and scan every manager's half-teams to find out their shortstop and CF options, with the file it takes about 45 seconds.

Anyone want a copy of such a player file?
If so provide me with your email address.

I'll only ask for only two things in return... (a) that you use the file to be/stay active in this league, and (b) that you promose not to whoop my team in the upcoming season like everyone did in season one (my 66-96 record was NOT very fun).
