GBBR(Good Buds Bragging Rights ) League

Postby HUDAMAN » Tue Nov 14, 2006 2:42 pm

Well, based on the makeup of this league, it appears music translates very well to SOM (and vice versa). Unfortunately, I have absolutely no musical ability, and judging from the 2006 card set, no SOM ability either. So maybe we're on to something.... 8)

SOM player should make very good Texas Hold 'Em players though, as both games should appeal to an individuals statistical nature. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Some night I'd actually like to WIN 2 out of 3. It'd be a nice change.

For a few weeks...But my favorite strip joint has been advertising that the y have topless Texas Holdem' at my favorite club TEASERS now every Monday and Tuesday nites. I think I may go partake when my wife goes to bed - early as usual. T&TH - TiTz and Texas Holdem sounds like just what the Dr ordered for me tonite. It was actually a lot cheaper when I had cats to abuse tho.

Kaina has been trying to fill the Pepperdine League for a couple of months now. There is 1 space left. It is 80M/Advanced/Waivers/DH...I'll send you the PW. You'll be in with me and Cummings in the west. Deal?

Um....Jeep.....I don't know who made the remark about sweeping you and C2 a couple days ago. :? It must have been someone who stole my "sign on" ID and posted trash-talking about the Gamblers. Yes, that must be it!! You know me, I would never say anything at all that would be considered trash-talking or dissing someone else's team!! 8)
Please be nice to my last place little Crazy Panters. We will be happy with a 3-6 record against your respected ballclub.

Humbly yours, Kev

I don't know about you guys......but I didn't have too much trouble with Jeep... :) In his park even.... 8)

I think the Panters should aim for 'at least' 7 wins!

Alphonso - I wanna say we took the night off to rest up for Kev's series, but that would be a fib. Your tied for first in ERA team held me down as good as anyone has all year. Me don't like the looks of that should we both be fortunate enough to meet in the post. :?

Kev: Too late...those remarks were posted in the locker room minutes after they appeared in print. Even 'Manny' is focused for these games, doesn't[i:0c60e7e912] that[/i:0c60e7e912] tell you something!

The Central laid a good old-fashioned butt whipping on the East last night...a 10-2 record.

Especially sweet was our "PNC" team swept a "MM" team on the road. Of course with a MM team in my division my RH's felt right at home anyway. Ironically, however, was Villone's save in Game 3.

We also had on our track shoes last night, swiping 11 bases in 13 attempts. 8)

Lastly, Kev your hospitality was overwhelming and appreciated.
