Not sure what to do about Cubs48. :?

On the one hand, we're not in a huge rush, so I don't really mind waiting.

On the other hand, he may have abandoned us. I do hope he's OK.

Anyone else have any thoughts????

A couple of ideas:

1. Pause the draft until next week due to Thanksgiving holiday.

2. Put out an ABP for Cubs - PM him, post on 80s site, etc.

3. Continue draft with 2 hour clock and allow Cubs to argue for compensation when he resurfaces.

4. Find another owner or interested party to draft for Cubs.

Or a combination of all of the above!

I'm having a lot of fun researching the various players from the 70s and being reminded of some of the names. There were some fun names back then - Boog, Gaylord, Bake, Catfish, Fergie, Vida, "The Bird", Thurman.

I'm ok with whatever the league as a whole decides. As big mentioned, there's no real rush since the game isn't even out yet. I'd be OK with giving cubs48 another couple days....with us making every effort to contact him, of course. And if he doesn't resurface by then, maybe we could go in another direction. I just hope he's ok.

LMBombers, thanx for the info on Monday. I recall the event and those were tumultuos times indeed.

Sorry for the hold-up guys but on Wednesday,Nov 15th I had a heart attack while playing golf,went to the hospital and ended up having open heart by-pass surgery Thursday morning...was released yesterday but with so much going on didn't get a chance to address this draft...I appreciate you not replacing me and as soon as I can do a little research I will make my picks.....Thanks,
