I have set 11 in our current league 3... they are admittedly overachieving but they are off to a hot start at 36-24.

I had to trade away some big names... e.g. Trammel, Sandberg, Boggs... but then enlisted Pfiester, McClain, Maris, and Dick Allen as better complements to my stadium (Exhibition)...

The real problem I had with set 11 is the stadiums believe it or not... I wanted to try something with more of a pitcher's park, but there's not one evident in set 11.

Case in point as to my "over achieving"... Tommy Boggs is 7-0 in 7 starts and Craig Lefferts has 22 saves in 60 games... Yeah, those stats won't last.

My guess is that the league will be up and running on Wed. That puts the start date at Monday after thanksgiving.

I'll be without a computer from Tuesday untill Friday at the earliest; possibly saturday.


If anyone wants to trade talk early, I'll be checking the boards monday afetr 4 PM Texas time.

I've got a butt load of starting pitchers. Set One is like your one stop shopping center for staff aces.

rose- you've got a few players I'd like, none of whom I think you want, except cardenal. Check out my set and let me know which pitchers you want.
I'm not sure wheather I'm going 5 man or 4 man yet

Also, I forget who posted about having relievers, but I need lefty's pretty bad, could also use some bangers, but I'm not positive how many players I'll be shooting for- ie I may be maxed out

OK, I realize it's early but here is a possible list of players I have available. There are some decent role players here. I've listed hitters and RPs. Any of my SP are available, but not much to look at unless you want a place holder. Have a few cheap only SP that could hold a place on your pitching rosters.

I am using Brett, Carter, Yount, Cooper, Money but would consider any trade for the pssibility of improving my team. Need SP, 2nd base. All offers considered..

Wow, looks like we already have 9 teams loaded. I am on vacation all this week and back on Tuesday next week. If you guys start this league, I may not be able to see trade offers or set up my settings or lineups for opening night. I may actually win a series!! :shock:

Just wondrin'. I'm going to be on the road to California on opening night. Thinking of sitting on some cash but for most of the first week am without a computer, so, maybe not.
