I have made the Finals in my last 4 leagues, but only got 1 ring - It was satisfying tho because it was in LOTO, a very tough and competitive assembly of Vets. But after being 48 games above .500, my last 4 active teams have played poorly(All Fenway's) and now I am a game under .500 after last nite. Kinda' lost my mojo somewhere.

Better go find it soon so I won't embarass myself again. :oops:

I am playing in an unfamiliar Park in this league instead of taking the proven winning track. aka Petco/Safeco/Wrigley(My 3 best this year).

Thought it would make it more interesting.

Instead of baseball caps, our players are going to wear Carmen Miranda type fruit basket arrangements on our heads - Just think of a 98mile fastball or that killer sinker coming into the plate with mangos , grapes and bananas flying off of Randy Johnson's head.

Yeah - just try and hit that!

Our uniforms will be brightly colored, very busy Hawaiian Shirts, with Bright Red and Yellow Hot Pants with sparkling Red high heels (Which my players will sharpen for those feet 1st slides into 2B) - like the shoes Dorothy wore in "Wizard of OZ".

How' s that for imagery? Now try to imagine all 6' 10" of Randy Johnson in that getup with fruit flying off his head.

Then try to imagine Manny Ramirez at the plate in that gettup and trying to concentrate on hitting the corners of the plate. Oh yeah!!! We'll be leading the league in Base on Balls!(Probably HBP too!) :twisted:

Just remember that ty is spiking the visitor's cooler...mght make for some interesting coctails. Now...oh...boy I'm still laughing with those fruit baskets in mind...let alone Randy Johnson...I'm afraid when Sammy comes to bat people will think that it IS Carmen Miranda
