Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

I think Back to the 90s would be the most popular. Frankly, I think Id prefer Back to 1995-2005 the best. You could play with current players with the Mystery Card built in.

Back to the 60s or Back to the 70's. The 90's is just too recent.

How about Back to the 30's...

You have that unbelievable hitting year of 1930... with all those bad pitching cards...

The Gas House Gang. the best A's teams, colorful Yankees, Cubs and Tigers teams...

DiMaggio, Gehrig, Ted Williams, Chuck Klein, Al Simmons, Foxx, Cochrane, Bill Terry (.401), the Waners, Hack Wilson, Dizzy Dean, Carl Hubbell, Lefty Grove...

I'd play...

And they could charge less because it was the Depression Era.

My 1969 league starts tonight. I'm psyched. Maybe it'll be pretty cool after all.

IMO, the '69 game sucks. Boring, and with a lackluster player database. I bought a 5 pack, have 2 teams going ... can't wait till they're done. One is in 1st place.

Regarding ATGII vs The 80's ... these are my two favorite games. I kinda like that one has the mystery card, and the other does not ... but has a vast player database.

It's sorta like the AL having the DH and the NL having pitchers hit. Im one of the few that likes the discrepancy between the two leagues.

Mystery card obviosuly brings more of a luck element in, which I don't mind altogether. The sharps over in ATGII are very hard to beat, as many have mass amounts of experience and have taken the card data and done analysis that breaks down the cards as to who is the best plays for certain type parks.

IMO, the ATGII is still the best game out there. But I like mixing it up with a couple 80's teams here and there.

TSN needs to scrap the FantaSim and '69 games, and come out with a 70's game and revamp the player database for the 80's game.
