Also a BIG thanks for coming out with this BTT70's game and remembering us mystery card nuts.

REG-GIE, REG-GIE. Thanks, Bernie. Keep 'em coming. As for the start date, how about the first Friday in December?

On the one hand, I love the look of Reggie with a 2(-3)11, on the other hand, he is going to be big $$$$.

Before Christmas :D :D Now we all know what to ask Santa for... :o

So will there be a 'BTT 70's' forum? Or does this forum change to 'Mystery card games.'?

in a related question, will the 80s survive the 70s (or will it go like ATG II)?

The BTT80's game will survive the 70's. The different between the two is that there will be different player cards for all or virtually all players that are in the two games. In ATG it is the same cards with new ones added. Therefore it is the same game only better. The 70's will be different than the 80's.

I would say that after the newness (is that a word?) wears off of the 70's game in about a year that the two games will be almost equal as to number of new leagues formed.

I will play much more of the 70's for the first half of 2007 for sure, as it will be newer, but I will continue to play both games.

LM, there's a cost (to TSN) to support both games and I wonder whether they intend to sustain the 80s game during an anticipated down period. I suspect that it is gone, but, for selfish reasons, hope I'm wrong. Admittedly, though, I suspect I'll rarely play the 80s once the 70s is a go.

This thread should be reserved for excitement for the new BTT70s game and not over the stressful thought that TSN might drop our old friend, the BTT80s game. I don't think that will happen.

Hopefully things will run smoothly for Bernie and TSN and we will see the BTT70s game in a week or two! :D

There is NO reason to believe the 80s game is going to go away and to even think so is quite foolish. If they do not take away 2001, 2002, and such why on earth would they take away the others
