Comerica Question

Comerica Question

Postby BRADSANDBOTHE » Mon Nov 27, 2006 2:38 pm

How does this park play?

I know it favors Lefties for singles, but I am sure someone has played here that can give a bit more insight.

I just threw together a team that is waiting to draft.

After I looked at my draft list, it seemed to fit Comerica the best, but I was looking for some tried and true info about the park.

What pitchers do well here, is it more a pitchers or hitters park and what kind of hitters typically do well here!!!!

Just want to see if my draft list will hold water in this park.
( I don't want to give away who I am trying to draft), but I was hoping someone would list some players that do well here and see if I am on the right track.

Here is how my draft ended up.

I have 2b questions as well as DH and Catcher, and obviously my Starting pitching is in shambles.

Now, most of this league favors lefty hitting so everyone will most likely going for the same players in waivers and frenzy.

Parks in my division are Comerica (me) Jacobs, Safeco, and PNC

In league there are 3 Safeco, 2 PNC, McAfee, Gr. Amer. BP, Coors, Miller Petco, Jacobs and my Comerica.

My Comerica Team

Postby STEVEPONEDAL » Tue Nov 28, 2006 7:09 pm

I won 85 games with this team but missed the playoffs. I churned through a bunch of pitchers and never found any good starters. Fossum, Heilman, Carbbaval and Fuentes did great in relief so I quick hooked my starters.

Hitting, Berkman did surprisingly well for me. Hitting-wise Jeter has a lot of BPHRs so I don't think he was a good fit. Figgins did really well as did Ichiro. I had Hudson at seconde base. I had a tough time finding a place for him in my lineup where he wasn't GIDPing.

Bodie , your 2B problem can be solved with Graffinino . This guy is great and the best 2B value in this game . Iguchi is decent but he spends alot of time on the IR and never lives up to his card .

Catchers are pretty much mediocre at the plate , all of them . I usually go with 2 under 2M and get a LH /RH and one of them good D and strong arm .

Your pitching isn't quite as bad as you think . You'll have to watch out where you pitch particular players is all .

I had one of my two 2006 championships in Comerica:
