First Time At Wrigley

First Time At Wrigley

Postby Leo / loob » Mon Nov 27, 2006 8:44 am

Starting my first Wrigley team tonight and was just wondering what others believe to be "must haves" for playing there. Been trying to find any past postings on Wrig but does not seem to be any that I can find. I have another Wrigley, Coors and Petco in the division. I know some of you guys had to of managed a Wrigley team before. Thanks for the help!!!

I know its kinda late, but someone posted a link to the old "search forums" site. Take a quick read if you can this evening. Make sure your worst pitchers go against that Petco team, and it would also be a good time to rest your regulars too. 8)

This was my only Wrigley team this set:

I liked Fasano, though I had to tweak my pitching staff to comensate for the arm.

Bay, Aramis and Abreu were my cornerstones.

Thanks for the link Cummings2. Appreciate it. Also thanks Jerlins for the forum heads up. As far as your strategy of my players resting , that is exactly the plan I was having until you decided to keep even with me after last nights games. Our matchup tonight will be vital to decide the division winner

Bring it on!!! Your pitchers may have done well in Coors last night, but now they have to come to Petco to face my offensive juggernaut. 8)

Your finished product looks good. Should be a very competive division. Now if only we can get C2 to quit hiding behind his theme and individual leagues and come play with us big boys, we'll be glad to have him.

Well I do have a credit saved for a rainy day. I can use that now since I most likely will be getting a couple more in the future in our league that just started  8)

Would love to join Jerr. :D Drop me an invite anytime, lately I've been below the mediocrity line with my strat teams so this is the right time to get me in your leagues

Lobee, if you can send Leo the best of wishes from us around here in SOM-OL, we miss him.

G-L guys

I talked to Leo on Thanksgiving and told him that he is missed in Strat world. He is hopefully going to get his internet hooked up in 3 to 4 weeks and then you can be certain his first stop will be here.
