How much of a time commitment is strat-o-matic?

20 Minutes a day is a minimum commitment if you want to have any fun.

As far as SOM dreams go, I'm pretty sure I have dreamt about cards. You know, puring over BPHRs and the rest. Especially during a waivers period!

its time consuming at first when you need to analyze the cards.

after you draft a team, there is time involved making moves. once that is done, i dont spend much time at all.

i always set my teams at the beginning of the season and never touch them again until playoffs.

The on-line version isnt as expensive time wise as face-to-face leagues or live tourneys.

I was worried I wouldn't have enough time to play either. I'm an over the road truck driver who pretty much just has weekends off. I find enough time to do that. You may want to try the All Time Greats leagues first however. With less time this works better as you can find more players who do not have injuries which makes your "Hands on" stuff less important.

If you want a less time consuming strat-o-matic league, consider the ATG III Franchise League I'm trying to get started. You'd be limited to 4 teams' worth of players to choose from, significantly decreasing the time commitment needed to start a team.
