Four more teams needed to fill out this league. It appears that TSN is considering putting out another mystery card game in the future. Let's show our support of this game by joining this league (and other 80's game leagues).

Who can put together the best team using players from two real teams. Join the fun. Let's fill this league up today.

What are the rules?

(Can each team have 5 FA or not?, Is one year with one of your drafted teams good enough to make him eligible for your team? Once the season begins, are all players FA eligible for any team, or is someone unique to your team yours for the entire year?)

DRAFT QUESTION

Postby honestiago1 » Fri Nov 04, 2005 12:49 pm

Even though it is assumed that we draft teams from AL, then NL, it is not clarified in the rules I have posted. To clarify: first round is draft of AL teams. Second round is NL. Then two rounds of FA draft from non-drafted teams.

Honest, think about it, that isn't exactly fair. We should

Postby AdamPhoenix » Fri Nov 04, 2005 2:34 pm

be able to draft any team we want no matter what round provided when the draft is done we have two teams one in the NL and 1 in AL.

Why force someone to take a bad AL team when they can take a great NL team in that spot and then have to take whatever is left in the AL in round two.

Let me know, if you are going to reconsider and how the draft order will work. If our hand is being forced like this, I may or may not withdraw from the league (and i'd really like not to have to withdraw)

Wel, think about it this way

Adam has a point, and that was my original idea. What I need to know is if everyone else thought the same thing.

So, let me make sure. Which method is preferable to everyone:

#1: Draft any two teams, just make sure one's AL, the other NL
#2: Draft an AL team in rond #1, then an NL team in round #2

Let me know. I'll make the decision official after that.

I agree with AdamPhoenix all the way. You should be able to draft any team you want in the first round but must draft a team in the "other" league in the second round. I thought this immediately after reading the former post too.

Okay, okay, okay

I can see where this is going.

As per original (albeit unclarified, now clarified) rules -- DRAFT WHATEVER TEAM YOU WANT, AS LONG AS YOU END UP WITH ONE AL AND ONE NL TEAM.

(I yelled that to make sure I could hear myself) :D
