Two into one plus 2 twist

Two into one plus 2 twist

Postby IrishJoe » Wed Dec 06, 2006 5:02 pm

I'll start by saying I don't know how to set up a league. But having seen a couple of two teams into one leagues (Yankees seem to win alot). I had an idea of a serpentine draft:

one player
one team
second team
second player

the rosters that lose players in the first round do not replace those players.

I think this would at least realign the value of teams if not even them off. Any interest (especially by someone who knows how to set it up)?

I'm not sure what a 2 into one league is. How does it work?

two into one:
each owner drafts two teams and by doing so acquires the rights to the players on those teams. He/she then puts a team together comprised of the players on the two teams selected. Plus two means that each owner will have the opportunity to draft two addtional players.

I'm in. Can the second player drafted be taken from one of the teams that's been picked in rounds 2 and 3? And if you're interested, there's an ATG III league starting with each team based on a single franchise (yankees, dodgers, giants etc...) You can find the sign up list under the heading "ATG III franchise league."

No, the second player must be taken from the teams remaining undrafted. However, viewing the lack of interest, it does not look like anything will happen. I'm still looking though if others want to join.
