With regard to the error where the manager left a desirable player off his draft list. I agree with you that the player should belong to the team but the manager should use his first waiver pick to get him.

The person who left the original player off knows they did -- I've already exchanged leaguemail with them. My reason for not saying the team and player wasn't to protect him or anything. I'm quite sure it was an honest mistake.

I just wanted people's feedback without being influenced by what player it is, or what team. In my own case, I know I have interest in the player, but don't want to let that affect the decision.

When I proposed a waiver pick be used for the player, I didn't mean the team's first waiver pick, though that's a possibility.

AF, I think you should pick Green up in the waiver draft. I have no doubt it was an honest mistake, but arguably you gained some advantage by not having Green on your list (leaving slots and $ to acquire others).

What would you say to having to use one of your top 3 picks to get Green?
