Folks:

It is clear to me that we don't have everybody on the same page. As a result, we are highly unlikely to get this draft completed and league loaded prior to the holidays.

We either get this league loaded next week or it will probably be January given the holiday travel schedules of most people.

Rather than wait that long, how about we try to get 12 rounds done including ballpark and autodraft the rest of the players? If the group is unanimous, we can do this. If anyone objects, we will stick to the rules which call for a 16 round draft including ballpark and get done when we get done. Please post here or PM me.

I'm up for whatever will get us through this. For whatever reason, we seem to be having a great deal of trouble keeping this moving. I think folks have forgotten how to leave proxies when we draft on the boards. :wink:

I think we are running into the holiday "glut" of time for both work and personal lives. I have no issues drafting 12 and autodrafting the rest. To be honest, until the site is back up, it is really tough doing these live drafts with any type of clock enforcement. NOw lemme make my picks.

I'm not sure the holiday's are responsible for the long delays. I would just enforce the time limits. The majority of live drafts I've been involved with are subject to people failing to participate in a timely manner. If we were using Penn's site, no way would I agree to modify the number of rounds. However, it is a pain in the *** to go back and recheck all the previous picks each time I make a pick. So for that reason only, I'm OK with shortening the live portion of the draft.
