Strange draft,

Used different technique and with so many new players in this league, I got virtually everyone I drafted with one large exception, D. Willis.

I was last on waiver list and took a flyer on Byrd (instead of Duke)
Then went for Giles in RF

I didn't think it would even get close for me to not only get Byrd and Giles, I also got my 2 catcher replacements.

Now the only problem I forsee is my pitching (only 10). I only have 40,000 left and don't really know who to drop to get Mullholland back (dropped him prior to waivers to make money work).

Question is this.....will this lineup produce enough to get by with 10 pitchers or should I jiggle it up. I guess it is a good problem to have.

I am playing with 3 pretty inexperienced league mates.
My home field is Yankee Stadium and my divisional foes are in Metro, MM, and Turner.

The division only has 4 lefty pitchers besides Mulder, Wagner and Flores on my team. (Duke, Chacin, Foster, Sisco)and lineups are definitely RH biased.

Am I just dillusional or does my team look pretty decent.

These are the 3 other teams in my divison:

Now, we are in middle of waivers, but there isn't much movement yet, so I am sure these will change a bit between the time I posted them and the time people look at them.

You're looking good PD.

Jersey thunder looks tough as well.

If you are going to bury your 5th *SP then I'd only spend .50 there. If you are planning on spotting them then I don't really think Brian lawrence offers any real advantage over your other 4 SPs.

Personally I would upgrade defense in 2B. Just my opinion. I don't really think your offense or pitching can compesate for your defense at the mo.

Either way, all best of luck
