Question about Draft Strategy

Postby BRADSANDBOTHE » Wed Dec 20, 2006 5:24 pm

I just put together a draft list that was a bit differently, and was wondering if anyone tried this way, or am I off my rocker and will pay for it in the long run.

I picked alot of the highest priced position players for each position in the hopes of landing several and then did .75 for fillers,

That left me with around 21M for my Pitching, went with 3 mid range starters and rest .75 guys to fill out list.

I put all my higher priced guys at the top and all .75 at bottom.

What are the chances I land 3-4 guys instead of the one or two that I normally would get, and will I still be in the hunt for top waiver pick or would all my .75 guys cost me that too since no one really will be drafting them in the 1st place......or am I thinking too much.

I guess my hopes were to get 3-5 position players that are excellent and if I don't get those, Hal would give me next best at that position. After draft I would have enough money left over to fill out my pitching.???

Anyone have any take on this???

As Don Henley would say, " You must not be drinking enough"!

Try going to sleep anyway and good luck tomorrow.
