Final Round - Runners Up League - Season Underway Play Ball!

The top 13-30 ranked tournament managers are invited to play in a Runners Up League to determine the overall Runner-Up Champion. The format for this league is identical to the Champions League is: $80 million salary cap, DH, 18-round live draft, unique ballparks. Looks like we draft 17 players and a stadium during this live draft.

I won this league last year, so I am back to defend my 'title', and to assauge my ego over being booted out of the top 12. :wink: :cry: :wink: :cry: :wink: :cry: :wink:

We'll go with first-come first-serve for those ranked 13th-30th, and after 1 week will open the remaining spots to those ranked 31-48th, and after a second week will opening the remainder to any owner who completed the tour.

AT: My numbers agree with James Schubert...typo in my posted top 40 failed to show he's still in contention for top 30 (edit...see post below). (Also, I have Ducapa not on the list, as he did not complete the Tour, and Terry101 with 94.2 avg....)

It's unofficially official: [b:a2d194a078]James Schubert[/b:a2d194a078] has won the wildcard in Ev7 Lg8. By my calcs, he will finish in the top 30 if he wins his league championship. (Winning only the semis would leave him in 31st place, just one win short.) Nobody would be bumped from the top 30 if James gets in, as cristano1 and Deelyo would then be tied for 30th instead of 29th.

Thanks guys...my team is weak and it is doubtful i will win it all. I am happy at least for the strong finish to the 7 league schedule, making the playoffs in 4 of the last 5 leagues. I will be ready next year!

I have updated the list of 13-30 and 31-48 based on mesquitons post. I gather than unless James Schubert wins his league he won't finish in the top 30, but we'll know if he won at about the same time the deadline for the top 30 to check in expires, so he can be first alternate, which pretty much guarantees him a spot since I don't think we'll get all of the next 12-18 ranked players. I remember we had to go to the top 50 to fill last year.
