All,

I will be going camping this weekend, the kind of camping you do without any electronics.

What would you like for me to do. . . .

1. Leave a bunch of proxies with people (not really thrilled about this one)
2. I can have 2 proxy picks done without too much harm
3. suspend the draft until I get back
4. Some other option

Let me know, I leave at 5am in the morning.

Personally, I would love to finish the draft before maligned leaves on Jan 12th for his 3 week-travelling. So personally, I would prefer that you leave a few proxies so perhaps we can end up round 11 or 12 with your proxies.

That said, I would not mind that we stop at the end of, say, round 11, even if you have still proxies left, and suspend the draft until your return.

But I am afraid that, if we stop now (at round 9), we won't be able to finish before maligned leaves.

mcsoupy: I have a couple thoughts of things you could do.

1. Leave a bunch of proxies with someone other than us.
2. Since my pick is always next to yours, I would be happy to take your proxies and draft for you over the weekend. As someone suggested in another thread, you could send me separate pm's with each round of proxies. You can tell in your pm box when I've opened them, so you could be sure that I only open them as I'm going to make your pick each round. Just a thought...I understand if you're not comfortable doing this.

As much as I want to finish the draft and play this league right now I would hate to see anyone "disenfranchised" (man I hate politically correct words like that) after working so hard all year just to get into this position.

I think we made more progress today in the draft than on any previous day. I hate to see this momentum stopped but if mscoupy wants to leave a couple of proxy picks thats fine but if we need to pause the draft till Sunday night or Monday for him I'm OK with that too as long as we all promise to start kicking butt on this draft again next week.

If only we had Penn's draft site mcsoupy could leave tons of proxy picks and we probably wouldn't miss him. :(

I have a very good idea of the next three players I will pick. So I can send you my list (not in order), you see if it interferes with yours and if not, you could then send me your list, and I will stick to the list I gave you.

But I wouldn't mind if you prefer to refer to maligned or to someone else.

We could do this only for two or three rounds. As Bombers said, we should be able to finish off next week.
