I agree with LM - this is the Championship league, so I think everyone deserves to draft a team they are happy with. If we have to stop for 3 days to do so, then we stop. We'll just have to push that much harder to get it done before Maligned leaves.

All, I appreciate the sentiments, and understanding that you all have. . . trust me in that I didn't plan this (something the wife sprung on me yesterday).

Anyway, a couple of things:

1. I will leave a couple of proxies this evening for Marcus Wilby (in email) so that possibly you can get through a couple more rounds
2. I don't have a $9+ million platoon in center, I have 1 centerfielder that I am going to keep, and the other is for anybody that wants him.

Sometimes you draft not per need, but to keep others from getting certain players. So, if anybody is wanting either of my CFs, they are both available for trades.

Lucky - interesting choice of words about CC. Is there nothing special about him? Hmmm. He is one of a group of 4-5 LH SPs with a * rating, more BP HR to RH than LH batters, and fairly balanced (within 2L to 2R) and in the $3.5-4.5 price range. So if being 1 of that group doesn't make him special, ok, I buy that, but given that 3 of the 5 in that group had already been picked, I figured I might need to take him now. That Lowry went later in the round confirmed my timing.

Also, I noted with interest your post on players most-used by winning teams. CC has won 17-22 games on I think 6+ teams for me so far, with consistent ERAs in the 3.2-4.0 range depending on park, so there's more to love about CC than just the belly! (And yes, we do have that feature in common...) :P
