AM-NAT league--Discussion and sign up

Honestiago has asked me to say the following. Some reminders of what to expect when the last spot fills for this league:

1. When the last spot is filled we will use the following day's Lotto numbers.
2. The draft order will be determined (lowest number to highest). The first pick of teams in the first round goes to the lowest pick 3 number in order up to the highest. Round 2 will be the reverse order of teams, so the first pick in the team draft also gets the last pick.
3. Remember that by the time you make your second team pick you should have 1 AL and 1 NL team. For purposes of this league Milwaukee is considered an AL team.
4. I think Honestiago wants to set up the divisions geographically so I will let him do that. Maybe when you pick your second team you should say which of the two parks you will be using.
5. Once the divisions are decided one of the teams in the East division should create the league and set it up as a private league with password. When that is done that person would PM the password to the other 3 teams in the East division. The last team to enter their team in the East would then PM the 4 teams in the Central divsion and so forth.
6. For whoever creates the league remember it is a 80M, DH league.

OK - I talked to Toi San offline and I'll be taking his place (thanks, Toi San). As I explained to him, I really didn't want to add another team at this point, but the theme is a good one and, more importantly, I didn't want to see any more rule updates from honestiag!

Alright! League is full, and this is a pretty good group of managers. Only sad part is I can't use one of my USAF heritage aircraft names for this team, unless I can get the Bronx bombers....

FINALLY! LMBombers will be running draft order. Draft will begin tomorrow, in order, etc. I have renamed the rules posting to include drafting there. Hope this isn't a problem for anyone (this thread is a tad full, eh?)

Once teams are drafted, I will ask for team names, so that I can determine the divisions. Once that's done, we'll proceed with filling the league as LM has outlined in his earlier post.

Looking forward to getting my bootie kicked by everybody (or, hopefully, vice-versa). :D

We will use tonight's Lotto numbers and begin selecting teams on Thursday. I had previously stated that we would use the following day's numbers to prevent anyone from seeing early results prior to selecting the final state but it is early enough in the day that Jablowmi would not have been able to see any results. Therefore we can use tonight's numbers. :D

Hey, know what? I DO NOT want pick #1. I don't wanna be saddled with pick #24. Rather get 12-13 and get what I got in one fell swoop.

I've been thinking about which teams I'd want a lot, and how that ties in with my style. The teams that have hitters I want are, of course, in ball parks I don't like. This means I have to hope like hell I can combine a team in a park I dig, plus a team that will fill in any holes. There's a lot to think about, man.
