GBBR II - GET CUMMINGS 2 !!!

Postby kaviksdad » Thu Jan 11, 2007 11:51 am

I'm pretty well set position-wise, but my pitching (outside of Santana and Davis) is horrible. Missed 7 of my 11 pitching draft picks, which is the worst I've ever done.

Waiting to see what the over/under is on how many losses I'll have this season.

Oh, that's just great!! Tom likes his team and I'm in his division. I guess with Tom's 100 wins, I'll end up 30 games out of first. That probably won't get a wildcard spot!!

OK, bring it on!! First pitch tonight. I have to tangle with Stoney to start the season. We'll see if my anemic offense can score enough for Clemens and Pettite. I foresee a lot of 2-1 losses.

Man, everyone (including me) figures their team to be really bad. Someone has to wins some games, don't they? I figure it's Jeep. It's ALWAYS Jeep....

Gonna be a long season. I can't wait for 2007, so I can get on the same playing field with youse guys.

At least I got a ring, was a public league, but I did beat Big in the Semis, so that has to count for something. I should have quit while I was ahead...lol.

I think the deal...

With the Stonester fpr Mauer and Utley helped me to get easier players during waivers. I needed a LH power hitter for my Division and I have had decent luck with A Ramirez at 3B in PNC and Safeco. Overall, not as thrilled as with my team that only won 77 games in GBBR I, but much happier than I thought I''d be after the draft.
